Jia Morado, Ateneo Phenom Setter, Signs off from UAAP

From Fabilioh, Get Blued

Jia Morado, one of the most humble and unassuming volleyball players of this generation, has finally signed off from UAAP. Allegedly, she has already spoke with the Ateneo management regarding this as early as UAAP Season 78, so everyone in the team gave it all for this year, as it is their team captain’s final year of playing. Morado is currently a 4th year BS Psychology student in the Ateneo de Manila University. She said she will focus on graduating on time and take a breather to focus on a new chapter of her life. Here is the video where she announced that she will be signing from the UAAP, watch it:

As per Michelle Morente, she will still try everything she can, for Jia Morado to return next season. Aside from Jia, Gizelle Tan bade her goodbye to the Ateneo community as well. Coach Tai Bundit is also in danger of leaving the team this year.

On the course of her collegiate career, Jia Morado became best setter once, best server once and was part of the two-time Ateneo Lady Eagles championship team. The only volleybelle to not yet give her announcement on whether she will be playing her final year is Jaja Santiago.

Here’s the transcript of her community speech:
