EXPOSED: The Truth Revealed! LVPI Allegedly Blocking Imports from PVL, Says Oliver Mora

Clash of Heroes is done and Alyssa Valdez, Myla Pablo, Grethcel Soltones and Elaine Kasilag, along with Ateneo standouts Maddie Madayag and Kat Tolentino, did not play – forcing the LVPI to choose players from UE Red Warriors to complete the line-up for the said exhibition game. However, the cause of the said pullouts is still unclear – and tensions flare as volleyball players have expressed their disappointment against LVPI head Tats Suzarra for blocking the release of ITC’s for the Premiere Volleyball League imports who have been tapped by club teams to play for the league since its start last April 30.

Because of this, local players were forced to train and play in full gear for the first few matches of the PVL, which ultimately hindered them to participate in the exhibition tournament yesterday, held at San Juan Arena. Denden Lazaro, Mika Reyes and Jaja Santiago were the only popular names in the line-up where the Pilipinas Blue emerged as the winners. Sel Baliton and Shaya Adorador were greatly criticized, while a lot of people were dismayed as the Clash of Heroes turned into a Clash of Starlets, hopefuls to become part of the National Team.
