Earlier today, June 2, 2017, a gunman allegedly set a table on fire at Resorts World Manila, after firing gunshots at the casino area of the popular leisure complex in Pasay City, Philippines – near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. What was earlier thought of as a possible attack, which the IS claimed, as per AFP News Agency and as reported here, according to the Philippine National Police, it is just a simple case of robbery gone wrong.


Because of the recent attacks in Marawi City, several employees trapped inside the complex were injured as they attempted to storm of the place. Now, the lone gunman who was allegedly responsible for the Resorts World Manila attacks has been identified through photos from the CCTV. Described as foreign-looking, the said suspect is responsible for dozens of people who got injured early morning Friday.

According to ABS-CBN News, the said gunman was wearing a black bonnet, a gray shirt and brandishing a long firearm. According to PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa, the attacker did not try to harm any civilians in the casino complez while most of the injured were hurt while trying to flee the scene. Because of the incident, at least one security guard accidentally shot himself in panic.
