Truly, it’s a sad day for Linkin Park fans out there. The lead singer of the rock band, Linkin Park, Chester Bennington, hanged himself and was found lifeless in his private abode in Palos Verdes Estates, Los Angeles, California.

Law enforcement sources has revealed that he was discovered to have committed suicide at 9 AM  of Thursday, July 20th, as per TMZ. The Linkin Park singer was married twice and has a total of six children.

According to reports, Chester Bennington had suffered from drug addiction and alcoholism for years. One of his confessions is that he had been abused by an older male in his childhood. This, according to him, triggered his initial attempt to take his life away.
