MUST-READ: Ateneo Players React on ITC Issue

Bea Tan, one of the more popular Ateneo Lady Eagles alums who have constantly made her impact in Philippine Volleyball history after founding the Beach Volleyball Republic (BVR), finally released a four-page statement regarding the ITC issues involving PSL head Tats Suzarra. After their #IbigayMoNaTatsSuzarra hashtag trended on Twitter, a lot of people were disappointed about the supposed holding of ITC so that foreign players will not be able to play, sabotaging the Premier Volleyball League, which was formerly known as Shakey’s V League.

In a detailed four-page summary of their statement, Tan  and other players such as Dzi Gervacio and some Perlas Spikers condemn the corruption going on and called everyone to unite for the benefit of volleyball. They also asked who should be the main point of contact for volleyball in the Philippines so that the release of ITC’s would be made easier. The call for help has already extended to several coaches, players and even referees to take action and let their voices be heard. Here is the full statement:
